thank you for your submission. As general comments , you have passion for portraits, but the equipment you have now does not help you much. What camera do you use? I can see understanding on composition and good taste in selecting the subject, background and style. You are a good photographer and I believe you can be an outstanding shooter if you spend a bit more money on your equipment and a bit effort with your shots.
Girl on the bridge
Image above has the good composition. Too much contrast with the dark concrete, it is disturbing as it competes with the subject, which is clearly the girl. Also the subject is underexposed. you have exposed the background and not the subject correctly. Also the image is too busy for my taste, I would try to get a similar shot just with a simple building facade background, but if you are after the industrial look, maybe the background a bit more blurry.
The pose is nice…needs more visual power, stronger and again, subject to stand out more
Abby
Nice portrait, good composition, good depth of field approach. The subject integrates well in the image, the hat is not helping. If you watch the composition tutorial , the face proportion are a beauty component. in this case, even if the model is beautiful the cropped face is not visually appealing. Again, if you would have better equipment, the image will have stronger impact, in terms of colours, contrast etc.
Vira
Nice black and white portrait, good crop, nice blurry background. all good in this image. Is this you?
